Abstract

The paper improves the design of traditional direct-type of FIR filter, and gives an implementation method of symmetrical MAC FIR digital filter based on FPGA.The coefficient quantization of the filter is calculated and simulated using the MATLAB,and the FIR filter described by VHDL is synthesized and simulated. The results meet the design requirements.
