A Study on the Influence Factors of the Upgrading of Agricultural Industry Clusters——An Empirical Research Based on Six Main Agricultural Industry Clusters in Hunan Province

Abstract

Based on the panel data of agricultural economy in Hunan Province during 2001- 2013,by using canonical correlation analysis,the author studies the effects of resource,economy,technology and environment on the upgrading of the six main agricultural industry clusters in Hunan Province. Results show that the number of agriculture products processing enterprises and technological advance are the most important factors in the upgrading of agricultural industry cluster in Hunan Province. Therefore,it is advisable to promote agricultural industry cluster upgrading through scale economy and technological innovation.
