Analysis of cultivated land change in Shaanxi province and its influencing factors

Based on the introduction of the change trend of the cultivated land area from 1980 to 2011 in Shaanxi province,this thesis pointed out the policy factors of the arable land change in Shaanxi Province and social economic factors affecting the agricultural system through the analysis of the driving factors of change of cultivated land area in Shaanxi province by reviewing the documentation.On one hand,the policy factors promoted the process of urbanization and industrialization which reduced the cultivated land area among them.On the other hand,the policy factors inhibited the excessive and irrational decrease of cultivated land in order to ensure food safety and protect the cultivated land.Among the social system factors the increase of city population and the acceleration of the urbanization process led to the decrease of cultivated land area.The change of cultivated land area in economic system was caused by the investment,extension and the adjustment of agriculture and economy.Agricultural system factors were mainly through the elements of agricultural science and technology influencing the changes of cultivated land area.On the base of the empirical and quantitative analysis,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions of the city land intensive utilization level and the realization of dynamic equilibrium of the regional cultivated land.
