Evalution and Optimization of the Coordinative Degree Between Tourism Industry and Regional Economy in Shandong Province

The strategic position of tourism in the regional economic development is more and more important,the relationship between tourism industry and regional economy in the process of development is mutual influence and mutual restriction: on the one hand,the tourism industry can promote the development of regional economy and increase the income of the local national economy. At the same time,it plays a prominent role in boosting the related industry development,increasing employment opportunities and enhancing the vitality of the regional economic development. On the other hand,the regional economy can provide the development of tourism industry with support and security. In this article,through the coupling coordinate development model,we do a research on the tourism industry and regional economic coordination of 17 cities in Shandong Province. The results show that: Qingdao,Yantai,Jinan and other six cities achieve coordinated development between the tourism industry and regional economy,Tai'an,Rizhao and other three cities remain barely coordination and on the verge of disorder and Dezhou,Liaocheng and other four cities present different degrees of disorders. In the contrast between those cities' tourism development status and regional economic development speed,in addition to Qingdao which has achieved the excellent coordination,Jinan,Yantai and other seven cities belong to the tourism industry development lag,Tai'an,Rizhao and Weihai belong to the regional economic development lag. From the seven main factors affecting the tourist economic development level,the indexes of domestic tourism income and domestic tourism quantity have the greatest influence on tourism development level,thus we should promote the connotation development of domestic tourism,improve the quality and grade of tourism products and intensify marketing and propaganda. Through the sorting of five important influential factors of regional economic development level,we can find that these cities need to actively adjust the industrial structure,vigorously develop the third industry, implement the positive and sound fiscal policies and actively develop commodity retailing. Only to realize the coordinated development pattern abouttourism and economy reaching the mutual promotionin these cities,can the Shandong Province achieve the span from a big tourism province to a strong tourism province through the common promotion.
