Discussion of Case Teaching in Socialist Economy Theory and Practice Course

Case teaching is a teaching method which enables students to experience,analyze and make decisions in specific situations by imitating real cases in order to cultivate their independent thinking and ability to solve certain problems. Case teaching stresses the cultivation of analysis ability and decision-making ability,whose nature is an interactive reaching that combines theory with practice. Socialist Economy Theory and Practice is an economy theory course,which is dull to contemporary university students. Their understanding and mastery of economy theory is still shallow and there is a general disconnection between their economy theory and practice. Therefore,this paper proposes applying case teaching in Socialist Economy Theory and Practice in order to stimulate students' learning interest.
