Abstract
The possible defects were predicted in the original running gate system of A380 aluminum alloy gear box of automobile, utilizing the flowing simulation software Magma, and then the system was optimized. The results demonstrate that reasonable running gate system is critical to the quality of die casting;the contact time of model wall with the molten metal and gas decreases significantly when the optimized system is employed, which can avoid gas entrapment and improve molding precision to a certain extent.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
