Geologlcal characteristics and prospecting indicators of Huakun gold silver polymetallic ores in liaoning province

Huakun area is an important prospect in west Liaoning province where the ore controlling factors are complicated with widespread mineralization and various deposit types and the ore forming conditions for the Huakun gold-silver polymetallic deposit are superior.In order to make an even bigger breakthrough in ore prospecting,a summary was made through comprehensive accumulation,analysis and research of the existing prospecting data.It is concluded that the ore bearing strata of the Huakun gold-silver polymetallic deposit are carbonate rock formation of Wumishan Group of Jixian Series;ore controlling structure is a unique lotus flower shape rotational structure;Mineralization showsclear time-space relationship and genetic association with Later Yanshanian Period Huakun complex;There is three in one namely ore source layer-structure-magmatite ore forming geological condition.The area is very prospective for ores prospecting,and expected to become a middle to large pattern exploration base.
