GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DABAOSHAN COPPER AND SILVER POLIMETALLIC DEPOSIT OF WEIXI COUNTY AND ITS ORE POTENTIAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

The Dabaoshan copper-silver polymetallic deposit in Weixi county is the first found copper and silver deposit which is promising to become a middle to large scale deposit within Xuelongshan metamorphic rock.Based on a close analysis on the metallogenic characteristics of the deposit,a summary was made on ore controlling factors,ore prospecting indicators and the original rock of the metamorphic rock was traced back and the diagenetic and mineralization stages were initially divided and the ore prospecting orientation and prospective were pointed out,which provide a reference and a guide line for further prospecting in Xuelongshan metamorphic rock.
