Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of 320-detector row CT in patients with intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms.Methods:48 patients were diagnosed with of intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms by 320-detector row CT angiography. The image of 48 patients were retrospectively analyzed combined with patient history and the results of digital subtraction angiography(DSA).Image quality of CT angiography and position of aneurysms, number, and maximal dimension were recorded. Results:Fineness rate of 320-detector CTA image of intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms was 94%.A total of 53 aneurysms were detected by 320-detector row CT angiography in 48 patients.Among them,31 patients had single aneurysm,17 patients had several aneurysms,45 were saccular aneurysm, and 3 were fusiform aneury. In saccular aneurysms, the number of microaneurysm(5 mm) was 44,and location in posterior communicating artery section was 25.Conclusion:320-detector row CT angiography can exactly discover and evaluate intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms, especially have high value in screening intracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms.
