Abstract
The paper conducts quantitative analysis on the relativity between dynamic condition of groundwater and water level variations of the river by using long-term records of groundwater level and electrical conductivity of 7 observed wells on the both banks along the Yellow River delta, the method of imitation from correlation analysis and data of river level and rainfall evaporation of the same period. The outcomes show that a regulated discharge regime can increase the groundwater level of the both banks, the response of groundwater level to a regulated discharge regime is of delay effect and the delay time is varied with the distance to the river and the coefficient of channel percolation and;a regulated discharge regime has improved the groundwater quality within 2.3 km scope of the south bank of the river and the improved effect of groundwater quality of the south bank is much obvious than that of the north bank due to the influence of topographic slope and flow direction of groundwater.
