Abstract
By means of hydraulic model, the fluid flow and its flow area ratioin tundish are studied. It indicates that the internal profile in testing ground is not good enough. The fluid flow in tundish is improved when the feasible quantity and size and angle and place of opening on Vword-walls are set up, which meets product line and assures work of continuous casting and quality of continuous cast billet.
