The Constitutional Protection of Private Property Rights

Private property rights is a fundamental right of citizens,the constitutional protection of citizen’s private property rights is a central issue of human rights protection.The constitutional protection of private property rights has its legitimacy.The Constitution of PRC Amendment passed at the second meeting of the 10th People’s Congress of China in March 14th 2004,first defines clearly from a constitutional perspective the protection of private property.It is only the first step of nomocracy to protect citizen’s private property in Constitution.There are still some shortcomings on the protection of private property rights of the legal system,and we should further improve the constitutional protection of private property rights.
