Abstract

Great Master Yinguang,with huge accomplishment of Confucianism,is the 13th master of the Pure Land Sect.He advocates the equality and integration between Confucianism and Buddhism,summarizes the general meaning of the same noumenon in Confucianism and Buddhism as brightening morality like proving Bodhi,and proposed piety as the root of Confucianism and Buddhism.He also clearly puts forward that Integration benefits Confucianism and Buddhism while breakaway harms both. The life of Great Master Yinguang embodies strong Confucianism,such as calling for praying to Buddha at home,stressing family education and livelihood of the people,all of which manifest his thinking of promoting Buddhism with the aid of Confucianism conception.
