Abstract

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of artemether injection on transplanted human lung cancer A549 in nude mice. Methods 32 male nude mice were randomly divided into groups control, low dose, middle dose, high dose, each of 8 cases. 24 hours after inoculation of tumor, high dose group was taken artemether injection 120 mg / kg,middle dose group was taken 80 mg / kg,low dose group was taken 54 mg / kg,control group was taken 0. 9% sodium chloride solution 10 mg / kg. The nude mice were killed after continuous infusion for 12 days, and the tumor mass was weighed, inhibition rate was calculated. Results The inhibition rate of 4 groups showed statistically significantly differences( P 0. 05),thereinto inhibition rate in high dose group was higher than that of low, middle dose groups( P 0. 05),there was no significantly difference in inhibition rate between low dose group and middle dose group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Continuous artemether injection can restrain the human lung cancer A549 in nude mice, and the inhibitory effect enhaced with dose increasing.
