Causes and Treatment of the wound infection and treatment after tension-free ingninal hernia repair

Abstract

Objective: To discuss the wound infection and treatment after tension-free ingninal hernia repair.Methods To collect and study the patient during who got wound infection after tension-free ingninal hernia repair.To record the operation time and methods.Results: Twenty patients underwent inguinal hernioplasties.Nineteen cases partially removal were successful.One mesh were totally removed,there were none recurrences and re-injection in the follow-up.The average follow-up was 9 months(6-12).Conclusion: Factors related to infection after tension-free ingninal hernia repair are many.However,The key is to removing the infected mesh by operation.
