Abstract
Objective To evaluate the recent efficacy of radiofrequency (RF) ablation guided by CT combined with bronchial artery infusion (BAI) in lung cancer of the old. Methods Fourty-six patients underwent RF ablation and were treated with BAI 7 days later at intervals of 4-6 weeks, 36 cases were treated with BAI only. Resuts The efficacy of the two groups was 54.3% and 30.6% respectively, half one year survival rate was 95.7% and 77.8% respectively, one year survival rate was 80.0% and 52.8% respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion It is effective, less suffering that lung cancer of the old are treated with RF ablation combined with BAI, and it is an ideal comprehensiv method for the treatment of lung cancer.
