Abstract
Four ternary complexes of terbium(europium) with o-chlorobenzoic acid(m-fluorobenzoic acid) as the first ligand and the 1,10-phenanthroline as the second ligand were synthesized.Eight quarternary complexes doped with Gd(Ⅲ) or Y(Ⅲ) were also synthesized. The excitation and luminescence spectra of all the complexes were carried out at room temperature, and the relationship between the fluorescence intensity of complexes and the doped metal ions were discussed. The results indicate that the doped Gd(Ⅲ) or Y(Ⅲ) ions could obviously sensitize the fluorescence radiations of Tb(Ⅲ) and Eu(Ⅲ) ions.
