Abstract
A pipe-distributor fluidized bed system was designed.With the image velocimetry,fluidization characters of different zones in fluidized bed were investigated.The results showed that the fluidized bed could be divided into dead zone,radial mixture zone and sufficiency development zone.Between two pipes,particles moved symmetrically side to side in the 45° direction.In the axis and longitudinal zone,particles velocity increased and the radial mixture was more intense along with the augment of fluidization velocity.Fluidization air passed through two layer zone as bubble,which intensified the particle movement and heat transfer and was benefit for ash discharge and cooling.
