Abstract
China and India,as the world's two largest and fastest-growing developing countries,because of the adjacency of the geographical position,the similarity of the national conditions,these results in a similarity in the foreign trade of the two countries. Comparative advantage index and trade complementarity index have been used to carry out an empirical analysis for the competitive and complementary situation existing in Sino-India trade. Subsequently,a conclusion and some issues have been raised for Sino-India trade. Finally,some contermeasures and suggestions have been brought forward on the promotion and the development of Sino-India trade.
