A brief analysis of postgraduate education in nursing

Postgraduate education in nursing,which is developing rapidly,has been permitted to join the first-level disciplines in China.To further promote this cause,this paper analyzed the main problems and other important aspects in the postgraduate education in nursing in our country.It concluded that the teaching focus should be put on cultivating information acquisition and application abilities,abilities of thinking and problem-solving,writing skills,and so on.The key to producing high-quality postgraduates is to seriously monitor the following aspects:selecting the research question,making the research proposal,reporting and examining different research stages,and writing theses and reasearch paper.And the basis for successful postgraduate education is to help the postgraduates develop courage to question,perseverance in study,scientific spirit of seeking truth and being practical,and willness of cooperating and mutually assisting.
