A Survey and Analysis of Postgraduates' Learning Experience

Based on the survey of learning experience of 2781 Chinese postgraduates' in 27 universities,five suggestions are put forward to reform the Chinese postgraduate education system and improve quality of postgraduate education.Firstly,scientific development view should be established and implemented,and both macro-management and quality supervision in the process of postgraduate education should be strengthened so as to spur the postgraduate education to transform quantitative expansion to qualitative improvement.Secondly,key construction plan of higher education,focusing on hardware as well as software construction,should be human-oriented.Thirdly,doctoral supervisors to instruct postgraduates should be encouraged.Fourthly,postgraduates should be encouraged to write dissertation in the light of their supervisors' research subjects.Fifthly,to eliminate the regional differences in postgraduate education should be paid attention and the development of postgraduate education in the west region of China should be promoted.
