Abstract

Objective To understand clinical effect of the LEEP treatment on cervical atypical hyperplasia. Methods 28 cases of mild cervical atypical hyperplasia and 34 cases of moderate cervical atypical hyperplasia are all treated with LEEP. The cure rate and the recovery condition are observed. Results The cure rate of mild cervical atypical hyperplasia is 92. 86% while that of moderate cervical atypical hyperplasia is 94. 12%. Compared between groups there are no statistical differences( P 0. 05). Meanwhile the operation time, blood loss during operation and healing time are different between the two kinds of cervical atypical hyperplasia, but there are also no statistical differences( P 0. 05) Conclusion The treatment of LEEP on cervical atypical hyperplasia leads to less blood loss, significantly shortened cure time, satisfactory recovery condition and therefore has a higher clinical value and can be promoted.
