Abstract

Objective To observe the change of serum neuron specific enolase in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage in different periods within 24 hours from outsets. Methods 94 patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage were selected after they were hospitalized within 24 hours from outsets.According to the time when they were ill,the patients were divided into 3 groups:2~7 h group,8~15 h group,16~24 h group. They were compared with 40 patients of the same period who have not nervous system disease. Results The serum NSE levels of each period group was obviously higher than the control group(P0.01).The serum NSE values in 16~24 h group were notably higher than those in the other groups(P0.05).Conclusion It is a dynamic change course of serum NSE levels in the patients with acute cerebral infarction within 24 hours from outset. The values reach the highest degree from 16 h to 24 h after the patients were ill.
