Abstract
As a sustainable, environmental friendly, organism affinity and biodegradable inartificial polysacchride, chitosan has earned the attention of many researchers, and has been used widely in the fields such as medicine and sanitation, food industry, chemical industry, agriculture, function material, paper making, textile, printing and dyeing, etc. It is analyzed that the detail application of chitosan in leather industry, including leather making process, sewage disposal, and the application of it in the production of antibacterial leather in this paper.
