Abstract

This peper briefly expounds the significance of buildi ng's aseismic design and puts forward some opinions on aseismic design.The first is to stop using hollow plates in residential construction,the second is to mak e the architectural plan satisfy the requirements of seismic code,the third is t o treat well building's foundation,and the fourth is to adopt structural reinfor cing measures to building's weak positions.
