Analyses on the Cited Papers of 17 Core Journals of Library and Information Science

In order to realize the status of research exchange,penetration and utilization in library and information science in China,based on Chinese Journal Full-text Network Database and Chinese Citation Network Database in CNKI,this paper investigates the cited papers on 17 core journals from 2006 to 2008 by using bibliometrics,including the number of papers published in a journal,the number of cited papers,the rates of cited papers with funds,the distribution of cited papers with funds,the rates of cited journals,the interval-distribution of rates of single cited paper and high-frequency cited papers and so on.Of which the 17 core journals are provided to the public by A Guide to the Core Journals of China in 2004.This work is compared with the previous results and the academic influence of the core journals are evaluated objectively in the subject.
