Abstract

Objective To synthesize 4-(2-dimethylamino)-ethoxy benzylamine in order to reduce the cost of production.Methods 4-(2-dimethylamino)-ethoxy benzylamine was synthesized with N,N-dimethylethanolamine as starting material,and then chloridation,etherification,oximation and hydrogenation were adopted.Results The target compound was obtained and the structure was confirmed by 1H-NMR.Conclusion The total yield was 65.6% and this method had mild reaction conditions,cheap raw materials and it was suitable for industrial production.
