Abstract
A finite element model for a car is built and the model is verified by test.Considering the effect of the part thickness on the body mass and stiffness, the optimization design variables are determined through the sensitivity analysis method. The optimization on the mass of the body is conducted with the objective of minimizing the body mass and meeting the requirements of the body stiffness and modal properties. The mass of the car body is reduced by 6.25%,while the stiffness and the main modal frequency are somewhat raised.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
