Clinical observation on Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule in treating diabetic nephropathy

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule on stage IV diabetic nephropathy.Methods Totally 120 patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.All patients were given conventional therapy for one month to control blood pressure,blood glucose and blood lipid,and then the patients in control group were given irbesartan while the patients in treatment group were given Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule.The two groups were treated for 12 weeks.Renal function,proteinuria in 24 hours and other haemorheology indexes were observed before and after treatment.Results The index of renal function, urine protein excretion and haemorheology before and after treatment displayed much differences between the two groups except low shear viscosity and fibrinogen in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.01 or P 0.05);Compared with the control group,the index of renal function and haemorheology in the treatment group were significantly improved except the BUN and low shear viscosity(P 0.05),and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05 or P 0.01).Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule had favorable therapeutic effect of reducing proteinuria and improving renal function of DN patients.
