Study on Formation and Evolution of Town System in Highway Entrance Area——Taking Guali Town in Hangzhou City as An Example

This paper is based on the theory of new economic geography(NEG),and it reveals different evolution stages of the town system in highway entrance area by analyzing the power system in the formation of the town system,then take Guali Town in Hangzhou as an example.This paper holds that due to the geographical location,the highway entrance areas take the lead in development,in the meanwhile,influenced by internal and external mechanisms,the town system of highway entrance area will undergo beginning period,developing period and maturity period,what's more,the town system will experience the cyclical changes,namely,low-level equilibrium-imbalance-high-level balance.
