Abstract

Xiaolan Town is a typical town in the Pearl River Delta with faster development.Its overall planning is made under the guidance of theprinciple of city and town integration.Through the adjustment of land for industrial purpose and for the use by city and town within the wholetown,an ecological overall layout is formed by the combination of the centralized city zones and the dispersed city and town integrated groups.Thus,the problems that hinder further economic development of Xiaolan in the course of urbanization are solved.[
