Abstract
Objective To investigate the significance of nuchal translucency(NT)value of 11~14gestational weeks in screening abnormal fetus. Methods NT values were measured in 10982women at 11to 14weeks'gestation from Jan.2012to Dec.2012.NT≥2.5mm was determined as abnormal value. Results ①There were 173cases with NT ≥2.5mm.165of the 173pregnant women were under followed up.There were 12cases of chromosomal abnormality,5cases of trisomy 21(T21),5cases of trisomy 18(T18),1case of trisomy 13(T13)and 1 case of Turner syndrome(45XO);in addition, there were 9cases with structural abnormalities but normal chromosome.② The mean NT value of the 12cases of chromosome abnormality was significant higher than that of 153cases of normal chromosome(t0.05).③ The NT values of appearance abnormity group and normal group with normal chromosome were significant different(P 0.05).Conclusions NT value during 11~14gestation can be a good screening method which may help to detect serious fetal anatomy malformations and chromosomal abnormalities during early pregnancy weeks and can greatly reduce the physical and mental harm for the pregnant women.
