Animal Identification and Disease Traceability System Based on RFID

In this paper,by using RFID technology,the animal identification and disease traceability system were established to provide reliable information,for national disease prevention and control of major animal and animal product safety issues and timely effective tracking and traceability solution.The main features RFID technical principles and the main characteristics were described,and the application ideas of RFID technology in animal husbandry and slaughter were proposed and the outlook of RFID application in animal identification and disease traceability system were also presented.
