Antiviral Effect of Chinese Medicine Herbs Mixture on Newcastle Virus

Provention and control effects of the self-made Chinese herbal medicine composition on newcastle virus were examined.The soluble components of composition were extracted and concentrated to 1g/mL.The antiviral effect was tested by two ways,in vitro and in vivo.In order to confirm antiviral titer and protective rate,the mixture of extract and newcastle virus was injected into the egg with three ways of prevention,interreaction and treatment,compared with the control of physiological saline.The pathological model of newcastle disease was prepared.The pathological models were drenched the extract of 1g/mL concentration with two groups of prevention+ treatment group and treatment group to evaluate the antiviral effects by mortality ratio,deathprotection ratio and incidence ratio,onset-protection ratio compared with the control.The results showed that prevention+treatment group had the best role than those which were three ways of prevention,interreaction and treatment,reduced 4.35titles and 62.23%the amount of virus,the protective rate reached 100%.The way of prevention+treatment group had high protect affects compared with the control group,mortality rate decreased 30.0percentage points and protection rate increased 92.5percentage points.The extraction of Chinese herbal medicine by self-made has powerful inhibition effect on newcastle virus.
