Methylcellulose being used in trabeculectomy for treatment of neovascular glaucoma.

Abstract

Objective To study a simple and effective surgery of neovascular glaucoma.Methods Methylcellulose was used in the course of trabeculactomy.Results The success rate was 86.95% at 10 days after operation and 76.92% at 6 months after operation.Conclusion Methylcellulose used in trabeculectomy may improve the success rate of neovascular glaucoma surgery and reduce complication in operation and postoperatively.
