SEVERAL METHODS OF IMPROVING FRAGMENTATION FOR RED SAND ROCK

In excavation of cubic meter of stone,commonly the following four blasting methods are adopted,i.e.deep hole blasting,shallow blasting,springing blasting and well blasting.In this paper the author,based on his practical experience and the analysis of the leading factors work on the fragmentation degree,suggested upgrading blasting methods of the four commonly used ones to improve the blasting fragmentation.The four upgraded blasting methods were compared through taking into the consideration of blasting practice.Blasting practice showed that good fragmentation effect could be reached through any one of the four methods provided that the reasonable parameters and suitable measures were taken.
