Law of the Unity of Opposites and Construction of Theoretical System of Tourism

To construct an independent theoretical system of tourism discipline is the hot spot of basic study of tourism. The speed of this course not only relates to the survival of tourism discipline but also directly influences the sustainable development of tourism. By combining law of the unity of opposites as a Marxist basic principle with reality of tourism, the author tries to derive basic concepts and subdisciplines as two indispensable component parts in theoretical system of tourism. The authors method for constructing this system can be summed up as follows: an abstract thinking based on the perspective of various contradictions; go from specific to abstract and go further to thinking.
