Method Comparison and Bias Estimation of Different Testing Systems

Abstract

Objective Several testing systems were compared to study if the results were in the allowable range.Methods Using HITACHI 7080/Roche reagent/cfas calibrator as reference system(X),Olympus 5400/Olympus reagent/Olympus calibrator(Y1),Olympus 5400/Zhongsheng reagent/Olympus calibrator(Y2),Olympus 2700/Zhongsheng reagent/Beckman calibrator(Y3)were three testing system.Based on the NCCLS EP9-A document,more than 8 samples per day were collected and 12 biochemical targets were analyzed with 4 testing systems respectively for 5 days.Linearity equation and the relativity coefficient were accumulated.According to the error allowable of CLIA'88 about the interlaboratory quality assessment,the results were judged.Result The relativity between testing system 2 and reference system was the best.Except for TG,the relativity between testing systing system l and reference system was good.The relativity between testing system 3 and reference system was also right,except P and CHE.TG,LDH and GLU(low consistence)could not be accepted by testing system 1,Testing system 2 could not accept CHO.Testing system 3 could accept all the eight items.Conclusion After comparison,the results beyond the reference range were still comparable between testing systems and conference system after calibrating.
