Abstract

The paper takes the gear that is the most commonly used mechanical part as example to describe how to use UG(Unigraphics) and spreadsheet to achieve the parametric design of the parts of same type,then a 3D parts library of parts with same structure but in different sizes is established.The design achieves the goal of rapid establishment of a serial of products.And it is a very practical method of 3D parametric design.
