MEDICAL ENGLISH TEACHING: PRACTICE AND EXPLORATION

Abstract

Objective To study the teaching methods of medical English in higher medical schools. Methods The importance of medical English teaching in higher education, characteristics of medical terminology and medical articles were analyzed. New teaching methods were explored. Results The role and position of professional English in university English teaching was made clear . A practical and effective teaching method for medical vocabularies and professional articles was established. Conclusion It is important to explore and improve the teaching method of medical English for the benefits of students ability in reading, translation and writing.
