Abstract
The third-generation high-rate internal circulation anaerobic reactor(IC reactor) was used to treat the sweet potato alcohol wastewater, and the effects of pH values, temperature, upflow velocity and hydraulic retention time(HRT) on the process were investigated. The results showed that the influent pH of 6.5-7.5 could help the initial startup of anaerobic reactor, and the optimized operation parameters were as follows: temperatures of 30℃-38℃ and 50℃-55℃,upflow velocity of 5m/h and HRT of 2-3 days.Under the optimal conditions,COD removal rate was above 90%.
