The Southern Communication of Central Plains Culture in the Period before Tang Dynasty

The cultural system of Central Plains built on the basis of agriculture and farming has always the core mark of Chinese culture and was taken seriously by the rulers of various dynasties,which makes it communicate in all directions within the rulers' power.Before Qin dynasty,the culture of Central Plains and that of the south communicated each other.In the period of Qin and Han dynasties,because the regimes of Central Plains forcedly pushed Central Plains culture to their south possessions and the powers and well-known families moved southward owing to dodging chaos caused by wars,the Central Plains culture was communicated southward.In this period,the frequent wars and the people of Central Plains that moved southward played much important part and the intellectuals that acted as government officials and settled in the south region also made everlasting contributions in this respect.
