Abstract
In present paper the influences of Cr 6+ at different concentrations on the germination of maize were studied. It is shown that Cr 6+ could raise germination percentage, viability, index of seed vigor, the bud growth and root growth when Cr 6+ level was 5mg/L. High level Cr 6+ was harmful to germination and growth of maize. Cr 6+ has bigger inhibition influence on root growth of maizw than on its bud.
