Abstract
With the aid of PETS-1 and Cognitive Style Figure Test,this paper is aimed to investigate the cognitive style tendency of secondary vocational students and the correlation between cognitive style and oral exam performance by means of the research into 74 second-year secondary vocational students.The results analyzed by spss16.0 shows: 1) Most of the higher vocational students are field-independent learners.2) There is significant difference about cognitive style between boy students and girl students.Most boy students are field-dependent learners while the girl students are mostly field-dependent.3) There is no significant difference between secondary vocational students' cognitive style and their oral test performance.
