Abstract
Being a historian on the turn of Chinese from the old to the period,Liu Xianxin,with traditional Chinese way of thinking and historical theories,held the pulse of the ages,put forward the Chinese-centered historical theory and is an historian who has traditional complex.By studying Qian Si Shi and Zhedong school of historiography,Liu Xianxin elaborated on details of traditional Chinese and explored the spirit and vitality of the Chinese traditional historiography.He paid close attention to the western historical theory and method but did not approve the new historiography of Robinson and other western historians.Today,Chinese is building its own theoretical discourse.Liu Xianxi-n's Chinese-centered historical theory deserve studying carefully.
