Abstract
There are a large number of words with the suffix Zi and Tou in the Hefei dialect,which is a representative characteristic of Anhui Jianghuai dialect.Words with the suffix Zi are mainly two-word or three-word units,while words with the suffix Tou are mainly two-word units.Words with the suffix Zi are mainly nouns and a few of them are pronouns,numerals,verbs and adjectives,while words with the suffix Tou are mainly nouns,verbs,adjectives and adverbs.Suffix Zi is to express the speakers' minor or despising opinion,while suffix Tou is to express respectively minor,despising opinion,or the developing trend,origin and whether it is worth doing.
