Abstract

Objective To study the healing effect of HEMA(hydroxyethylene methacrylate)-collagen antibiotic sustained-release membrane on burn wound.Methods The HEMA-collagen membrane was prepared by encapsulating silver sulfadiazine. The SD rat models of second-degree deep burn were established for the observation the effect of HEMA-collagen antibiotic membrane on burn wound healing. A total of 63 burn model SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:①group A(n=21) treated with HEMA-collagen antibiotic sustained release membrane;②group B(n=21) treated with silver sulfadiazine paste and ③group C(n=21,control group) without treatment. Results Compared with the control group, the healing rate in the experiment group was higher and the healing time was shorter obviously(P0.05). It was demonstrated by histological examination that the proliferation profiles of epidermis was much better in the experiment group than that in control group.Conclusion HEMA-collagen antibiotic sustained-release membrane is an effective dressing for promotion of second-degree deep burn wound healing.
