Abstract
In order to improve the over-all properties of vinyl acetate/butyl acrylate emulsion,such as water-resistance,freeze-thawing stability and adhesion,a new kind of Organosiloxane modified PVAc/BA emulsion was developed by seed emulsion polymerization.The testing results indicated that there is an evident improvement of the emulsion properties and the appropriate amount of organosiloxane is 1% of the total amount of monomers.
