Abstract
Aim To establish a method for quality control of Qinlianxiaocuo pills. Methods Rhizoma coptidis、Radix angelicae sinensis and Radix paeoniae rubra in Qinlianxiaocuo pills were qualitatively identified by TLC. The content of baicalin was determined by HPLC. Results The TLC indicated that three identified herbs can show the same color pot with the control herbs or contrast in the same position. The average recoveries of baicalin was 99.67 %,RSD=1.16%. Conclusions The method was sensitive, reliable and simple and can be used in the quality control of Qinlianxiaocuo pills.
