Abstract

Objective:Observed human brain hemodynamics responses by electroacupunctur Yanglingquan(GB34)in visual stimulus,to discuss and analyze the relation between acupuncture and brain functions.Methods:Twelve health volunteers was carried out BOLD-fMRI experiment in vision stimulation and electroacupunctur GB34 under the vision stimulation,a scintillating chessboard grid was applied as the vision stimulation task,frequency is 8 Hz,and finally the activation of cerebral response functional areas was analyzed and compared with a picture and data recombination method(reblocked's).Results:Only under visual stimulus,left brainstem and the left cerebellum occipital are activated,and the left brain,limbic lobe,parahippocampal gyrus(BA 19),left brain superior frontal gyrus and right brain frontal lobe(BA 31)are activated.Electroacupunctur GB34 under the vision stimulation,left frontal lobe precentral gyrus(BA6),left inferior frontal gyrus(BA9),a left temporal gyrus(BA22),parietal precuneus(BA7),left inferior parietal lobule(BA40)and right brain frontal lobe(BA31)are activated.Conclusion:The brain conduction path connection changes by electroacupunctur GB34 under the vision stimulation,electroacupunctur GB34 can adjust BOLD in motor area of brain.
